High tourist season at the Sabety Lodge is officially from April 1st to November 30th, during the dry season, while it is not raining. This is the best season to travel to the Sabety Lodge.
Low tourist season at Sabety Lodge is officially from December 1st to March 31st, during the rain season. This is the best season to observe the greatness of El Tonkini.

Among the principal attractions of the Sabeti Lodge we can talk about Megantoni National Sanctuary, Urubamba river, Pongo de Maenique (Sacred pace for Machiguenga people), the Sabeti river, the Timpia Native community, viewpoints for claylicks for macaws and the lake of Hoatzins (bizarre birds that live in the area); as well as the performance of Machiguenga cultural activities.
